The Apple Room was a well-appointed space, with a comfortable bed and outdoor seating that beckoned, even if the unpredictable weather kept me inside. Breakfast was an experience in itself. The menu boasted a selection of 6 cooked items that catered to diverse palates. I opted for a traditional English breakfast, which was expertly prepared and paired with freshly brewed coffee. The little touches, like cozy teapot covers, added to the overall charm. Sharon, our host, was invaluable. Her recommendations for local sights, such as Broadstairs and Sandwich, are areas ripe with unique finds, making my stay feel genuinely immersive. While I didn't sample the evening meals, I can attest to the breakfast's quality and variety, which certainly set a strong standard. The peaceful atmosphere, coupled with attentive service, makes Hillview a notable spot for those looking to indulge in both leisure and a taste of local culinary delights.
